We dated for years before we did introduction last year December. And here is the thing: early last year, my fiancé gave me N2.5m to start a business and I also added N700k to it. I rented a shop and I started provisions and foodstuffs on a small scale. We had issues during that time because we were in different states and he was cheating. My heart couldn’t take it and I was moving like I wasn’t in a relationship too. He then started to threaten to send his shop key or else he would come down to the state I was and embarrass me to leave his shop. I told him to do his worst. He traveled down and met my elder brother. My brother called me and I went to meet him there and we later settled. Later, one girl he had dated during the process of us being in different states started messaging me, telling how he doesn’t love me, how he is a womanizer and how he had told her we fought and he traveled to collect his shop key, saying I used kayanmata on him, blah blah blah. I just ignored it, thinking it was coming from a place of jealousy because they broke up.
Though I was angry, I didn’t let it get too much to me since we had already settled and the message had been long but I didn’t see it because it was in my message request. Late last year, my brother gave me N5m and I extended my shop, which he knew about too. I am a PCOS patient and I have been placed on treatment since 2022. Thinking about all of that, we started to plan our introduction and two weeks to the date, I found out I was pregnant. I was so happy because of my condition and at the same time sad because he doesn’t have anything meaningful doing. He just finished serving and he was planning to move to the state that I was so we could start afresh and we were praying things would get better. After the introduction, he still wouldn’t stop cheating. Different girls messaging and stalking me, yet he would beg and we would move on. Due to my condition, he was the one helping me to stay in the shop and I only go once in a while. The shop stock started reducing drastically because we were literally eating and surviving from there.
When I start complaining, he will remind me how he gave me his life savings to start my business. He would buy tramad0| weekly from my account and he also comes home drunk every day. I would check his phone and see his cheating ways. He would even change girls’ names to guys’ own. He became a president of cheats on Snapchat. I got tired because how would you be broke and still cheating shamelessly? I collected my key from him and the next day he requested for the key, saying he wants to go and take something, which I refused, and he started calling my family. Those ones asked me to give him the key to go take whatever he wants to take, then warned me to be careful because of my condition. I am not happy in the relationship and my business isn’t moving forward. I haven’t even gotten any baby things. I am literally tired and I am 5 months gone already. Please advise me.
