Can you imagine my man telling me that after our marriage, his son would come live with us? This was never the plan from the onset. Yes, I know he has a son. He has been married and now divorced. The son is with the mother, and the boy is just 9 years old. Now he is saying that according to the court arrangement, after the divorce, the boy would be with his mom, and when he is married again, the boy would now live with him until 18 years. I’m so scared. I don’t know if it’s something I can cope with. I just clocked 24 on April 07. I don’t know if I’ll be a good stepmom. I’ve not even taken care of myself yet, not to talk of a child. This was someone we had an agreement with that after 2 years of marriage, that’s when we’d start having babies because by then I’ll be mentally ready for it. Now this? I’m not sure it’s something I can cope with. And he told me that his previous marriage won’t be an issue. Should this be a deal breaker?
