I’m not in a good state of mind and this is my first time coming here to rant. So, I came to visit a friend that stays in another city. I already spent a month and I was about to leave and go back to my own place. The day I was leaving, I asked the maid to help me pack my wears and wigs in the luggage, and she did. While she was packing, I was in the bathroom. My luggage couldn’t occupy my things, so I gave her an extra thick nylon to pack the rest of my stuff. We were five in the house and she took my luggage and the extra bag to the junction where I took a bike to the park. When I got to the park, I was sitting alone in the front seat. I checked the nylon, my wigs were not there. I called to ask where she kept them, she said it was in the luggage. The mistake I made was not checking my stuff before I left the house and that was because I was in a haste. On getting to my house, I checked everywhere including the luggage—my wigs were not there. I called my friend to ask her maid if she was sure she packed it and the girl said yes.
My friend also asked the other girls, they all denied it. I had to come back to look for it because the wigs cost almost N500k. I just got them and it’s barely two months. Please, I want your advice on this. I don’t know if I should involve the police or just let it slide. It’s so painful and I’m deeply hurt. Might sound funny, I called two prophets to pray about it and they confirmed it was one of the girls that took them.
