Good day my elders at home lol. So I want to rant concerning my situationship and I’d love y’all to advise me on what to do next. Me and my bf started dating November last year, and it’s been a roller coaster. We always have issues and fight, and it’s a long-distance relationship but within Lagos. This guy is a nonchalant guy. Even when we haven’t met sef, he always acts like he doesn’t care about me. He can go days without talking to me. If he is at fault or I’m at fault, he will rather not talk to me than say sorry, and I end up saying sorry for peace to reign. So early March, something happened and we haven’t talked since then because I chose not to say sorry or text him and apologize for what happened. Even though I’m at fault, what happened doesn’t warrant my bf telling me he wants a breakup. I accepted and said okay. Here is what happened: that particular day, we were on a call around 5 pm and I told my bf that I wanted to read till 7 and I would call him once I was done reading. He said okay and I cut the call. I finished reading around 7:30 and quickly went to fetch water two streets before mine.
When I was done fetching water, I had my bath and picked up my phone to text my bf. Then I realized my phone was off and I didn’t have light, so I went to my friend’s place to charge my phone. Immediately it charged and came on, I texted my bf and explained the reason I texted him by 8:30 instead of 7 like I promised earlier. Then the next thing my bf told me was never to text him again and that he’s done with this relationship. I said okay and did not text him since then. Now I explained what happened to my sister, and she told me that I should text him and apologize, which I don’t want to do because you can’t claim to love someone and go two weeks without talking to them. I’m quite sure if I text him or apologize, we will continue the relationship, but I just want a man that wants me no matter what—not a nonchalant guy or someone that doesn’t care who stays or leaves.
