I had this guy I’ve known since my primary school days ’cause we stayed in the same area then as kids, but we didn’t talk. Fast forward to when we finished secondary, he started asking me out and I always turned him down due to how stubborn he used to be back then. He kept on disturbing me, sent my friends to me, but I didn’t even like him at all, so I always ignored him. Now that I’m done with my education and waiting for service, I decided to give him a try. Tbh, he’s been good to me—there’s nothing I ask him that he doesn’t give me—but I feel so unsure about him. I forgot to say we don’t always see. Since we’ve been dating, we’ve never had the chance to see or talk for a whole 24 hours. We don’t stay in the same area ’cause he’s still in the university. We’ve been on a date once, but that couldn’t last ’cause I’m someone that must get home latest by 8:30 p.m. My real concern is, this guy hasn’t invited me to come over. Though he has once said I should come and greet him, I told him let’s make it the other week. The week came and passed—he didn’t say anything about it, neither did I. We fixed another date to see.
A day before that day, I reminded him and he told me he forgot, that he’s sorry, and promised to tell me when he’s back at school so I can come over. He went back to school again without telling me, and I’m beginning to get curious. Does he not want me to come over or what could be happening? This guy gives me anything I ask for o, and we’ve been dating for close to 4 months. Is he feeding me till I’m ripe enough to eat and ghost me? Or what exactly could be his motive? Even on the phone, we hardly chat. We might use a whole day just asking “how are you?” “how was your day?” We hardly talk deeply. Though I’m a shy person, and I don’t like asking him too much so it won’t look like I’m desperate to chat with him, ’cause I’m mostly the one bringing up conversations.
