I’m currently in a serious relationship that’s been going on for nine years. However, in 2021, I met another guy who told me he loved me. I informed him that I had a boyfriend, but he persisted, asking me to give him a chance. Eventually, I agreed, but I made it clear that I wouldn’t visit him in person, and we would only communicate online. He accepted this arrangement. We started dating, and he consistently provided me with anything I asked for, even though he didn’t have much. By the end of 2023, he invited me to a party, where he introduced me to his family as his wife. They all greeted me warmly. Since then, I’ve developed strong feelings for him – even stronger than those I have for my boyfriend. I feel like he genuinely cares for me more than my boyfriend does. One day, I texted him to say I wanted to visit his house, and he was thrilled. However, he lives with friends, and when I arrived, they all greeted me warmly, saying he had been mentioning my name for a while now. That day, we cuddled, and I was in the mood, but we couldn’t take things further.
When I got home, I saw a message from him saying he couldn’t cope with me anymore if I couldn’t be intimate with him. He claimed his friends were teasing him, calling him names, and that’s why he stopped talking to me. I was heartbroken, and I texted him that I was in the hospital. To my surprise, he came to visit me, but I could sense that he had changed. I decided to leave him alone. In February 2024, I posted my main boyfriend on his birthday, and he saw it. He reached out to me, saying he missed me dearly. He even sent me 100,000 naira as a token of appreciation for standing by him when he had nothing. I thanked him for his kindness. One of his friends contacted me, saying he regretted his past actions and wanted me to consider taking him back. He begged me to give him another chance. One day, he called me and put his mom on the phone, and she also pleaded with me to accept him back. I eventually accepted him back, and he’s been making amends. Every Sunday, he comes to see me, bringing provisions, gifts, and even clothes.
He’s been taking care of me, and I appreciate it. In April, he texted me, asking for my help with cooking. I went to his place, cooked for him and his friend, and we all had a good time, joking together. When his friends left, and it was just the two of us, he hugged me, kissed me, and we started cuddling. I tried to push him away, telling him I wasn’t ready for s€x. However, he persisted, and in the struggle, I got hurt in my back. He then told me to get up and asked me to leave his compound. Since that day, he’s ignored my texts and calls and even blocked me on all social media platforms. Despite everything, my mind keeps drifting back to him. I’m torn because I have strong feelings for him, but I also love my boyfriend.
