These past few weeks have been very traumatic for me. I was attacked by robbers at CMS Market on my way back home. It was a one-chance incident. Important items were taken from me, such as my phone, laptop, and other stuff. I sustained a very deep cut on my face and was hospitalized for a few days. I needed to retrieve my line and get a new laptop because of the tech program I enrolled for. Then I reached out to a friend who owned a car to take me to Ikeja. From Chevron to Ikeja, both going and coming back, he requested that I pay N30k for 30 liters of fuel, which I didn’t have a problem with. He even made me send him the money before leaving his house. He picked me up, and we headed to Ikeja. We didn’t experience any traffic.
Immediately after he dropped me off and headed to Ajah, his location, this friend called me to tell me that he had just run out of fuel, indirectly telling me to send him more money. Honestly, at that point, I felt so bad considering how long our friendship had lasted and the fact that he didn’t even consider my condition. I’ve been really accommodating to this friend. He spent most of his days in my house, and I cooked and entertained him whenever he came around. And the only time I needed his help, he put a price on it! Mind you, I also took care of our feeding for that day. I couldn’t chest it, so I expressed my feelings to him, and this friend called me ungrateful and said he regretted driving me in the first place. Rantz family, please, was I wrong for expressing myself? I stand to be corrected. Thanks!!
