I recently started dating a guy—about two months now—and it’s been all good and sweet. He’s everything I ever prayed for in a man. Here’s the deal: I’m 22 years old, looking to settle down in about two or three years. So, any relationship I enter has to be serious. Each time we talk, he mentions that he’s not ready for marriage or is scared of marriage. But one time, during a deep conversation, he asked if I’d marry him if our relationship reached that stage. I jokingly asked him if I should turn down other guys’ proposals because of him, and he said no. I want to know—am I wasting my time with him, or should I give us more time to get to know each other better?
