So, I just got out of a relationship with my ex two weeks ago. Talking about an understanding girlfriend—I am one. I pleased this guy in every way except sex because I am a virgin, but he had sex mates, which he told me about. I wasn’t comfortable with it, so I told him to get rid of them, or else we couldn’t be together. He kept giving excuses, and then we ended up fighting and breaking up. To the main point—there is a guy I like. We do talk, but not in deep conversations. The guy once talked about us going on a date, but I didn’t really follow up.
This morning, I don’t know what came over me—I sent him a DM asking if he would be willing to go on a date, and he said yes! He said he’d be glad to accept. He also asked for the time and venue, and he said he would make it there. Now, I feel like—is it not weird for a lady to ask a guy on a date? What do I say to him? A part of me wants something with him, but I don’t want to make the first move. Please advise me.
