I saw a rant where a lady was complaining about communication. When a man is going through a tough time, he tends to want to be alone so he can figure things out. It’s not easy being a man. When a man can’t provide, he feels less of himself. How will he be able to communicate with you when he knows that before you both even have a conversation, money matters must come up? You can tell a lady that you’re not financially stable—she knows your condition right now, even though you’ve been providing for her needs all along. She knows you’re struggling, yet she’ll still find a way to remind you that she needs money.
Didn’t I just told you I don’t have that much?! Women will always find a reason to bring money into the conversation. It’s sad because, deep down, men want to be able to speak out, but we can’t. No man is happy that he can’t provide for the people he cares about. You won’t help while he’s low, but you’ll complain about communication. Abeg, don’t annoy me, because I don’t even know what I’m saying anymore. Just shaa give that guy peace. Hand dey meet him. Send him a text reminding him how much you love him and that you’ll always be there for him. All these things are just about understanding.
