Some months after my boyfriend and I got back together following a breakup, I asked him what he thought about marriage and whether he was ready to take the relationship forward. He asked me to pray about it and be sure that we’re right for each other. In his words, “Some people might be good people but not good for each other.” Recently, he came to see my parents, and I feel he might propose soon because we have had talks about marriage. But I’m scared and not really convinced that he loves me. I’m wondering if he’s marrying me out of love or convenience. I can’t seem to get what he said out of my head, and now I’m wondering what changed or what convinced him to want marriage all of a sudden. Are my fears valid??
