This guy and I have been together for a year and two months. Sometime last month, he just ghosted me for a day. Later that evening, after a series of messages, he replied and told me he just wanted to go solo and needed some time to cool his head without involving me. He said he would chat me up when he was okay. The next day, in the evening, he messaged me and apologized, which I accepted. Fast forward to this month (last week), after having a smooth conversation with no argument or pending issues, he just stopped replying. Every effort to reach him was not fruitful. I called, but his phone was already on voicemail. I texted him—no response.
On Saturday too, nothing. Later that evening, he just dropped a response, and that was all for the day. The next day, no text again. I kept trying to call. Later in the evening, he texted me and said he was going through something but did not want to have any conversations with anyone—the same excuse he gave the other time. I asked him if he wanted space or wanted to break up, and he said no. He just said he didn’t feel like talking, that he was down, and trying to stay low, bla bla bla. This is the second time he is doing this since we started dating. Please, are there truly people like that—who ghost everyone when they are at their lowest? Or should I take this as a reason to leave the relationship?
