I have been with my boyfriend for almost two years now, and we’re currently doing long distance. He traveled abroad months ago for educational purposes. The issue is, whenever I tell people I’m in a long-distance relationship, they tell me it can’t work. They say even people who traveled together don’t last, not to mention long-distance relationships. Someone even said unless he doesn’t have a manhood, it won’t work. Others said if he were serious, he would’ve proposed before leaving. I just want to ask—do long-distance relationships work? I believe ours will because he’s intentional about me, but I’m scared.
