Recently, I was broke, so I borrowed money from an online loan app. I couldn’t repay the loan on the due date, so the loan app sent defamation messages to my contacts saying, “Run from her; she is HIV positive and she fucks dogs for a living.” They sent the same message to my sister’s WhatsApp, and my sister replied with, “Okay, I’ll be careful, thank you.” The reply really hurt me. I didn’t expect my sister to respond to a stranger like that. So, guys, please, am I overreacting, or should I be careful of her? Is that a normal way for my sister to respond to defamation about me?
