Guys, please, I don’t know what this means. I’ve been seeing centipedes in my house recently. I’ve stayed in this place for up to two years and have never seen anything like this before. Growing up, I used to be very scared of centipedes, and even then, they weren’t common because they hide a lot. You’d only see them under a bag that had been kept in one spot for a long time. But in this place, I’ve seen one or two under the carpet. This month has been crazy—they don’t even hide like before. A few days ago, I was lying on the mat, and I just saw one walking toward me. I didn’t even notice it until it was close to my face. The way I jumped! This is a clear and neat space. Between last week and this week, I’ve k!||ed three. My place is not d!rty, though there are some bags permanently in one position. I clean up thoroughly at least every two weeks. Now I’m planning on relocating.
Today, around 2 a.m., I was lying on the floor again when one jumped toward my face out of nowhere. Say centipedes don dey climb walls now. My heart just dey beat; I no fit sleep. Though I used insecticide this evening and spread so much that the room looked smoky before I closed the door and left, I’ve been using insecticide these days. I don’t know if that’s what’s bringing them out, but on the other days I saw them, I didn’t use any. I don’t know what’s causing this. I’m really scared. I’d rather sleep with cockroaches than centipedes. My concerns are:
1. Why are these ones roaming around instead of hiding like before?
2. What causes centipedes to enter a house even if it’s neat?
3. How many more might be in my house and Where are they coming from?!
