Is it normal for my girlfriend to be jealous about the love I share with my siblings and relatives? She says it, and her mood changes when she sees me doing anything for my siblings. On the other hand, she doesn’t mind going months without hearing from her own siblings. She doesn’t get any support from her relatives, including her siblings. She hasn’t received up to N20k her whole life from any of her siblings, and she has five or more of them. This worries me. I do everything for her, from pocket money to paying her school bills. We’ve been together for five years now. She has no source of income except for me, though I’m trying to set something up for her. I’m getting tired of not receiving anything in return. It’s crazy—she wants all the attention and everything, yet I also need to work.
She fails to understand that, always acting like I’m treating her badly. I’m getting exhausted. She keeps gaslighting me. I’m doing well for myself. I own a business, a car, and properties, and I also sponsor our last-born sibling in school. I love this girl, but she never believes it. She feels less of herself, but she’s really beautiful. Why all this low self-esteem? I do everything to make her see she’s beautiful. I sing for her because I’m a good singer. I don’t know how else to show her. She wants me to reassure her every minute. After all these years, she still sees me like this. I don’t cheat, and she’s lived with me for the last four months. She’s well-known by all my family members and friends, but I don’t know why she’s like this.
