Please, how best can one handle blackmail aside from blocking? Because one side of me is kind of worried, and at the same time, I am scared. I dated my ex for a while, but later on, the relationship became too much for me. With what I was going through in school, I couldn’t keep up. During the time we dated, we were quite sexual; it was more of a long-distance relationship because of my school.
Along the line, we shared some sexual pictures and had quite a number of video calls. But he took some screenshots without my permission, and eventually, we broke up. A few months back, after everything had ended, he kept requesting that I send him more s£xual pictures of myself, but I declined. I told him I had moved on and that he should do the same. I now understand the kind of person he is.
He kept pestering, and I told him if he made such statements again, I would block him. When he did, I blocked him and deleted his number. But he said he would send the screenshots to my mum, and I told him “safe journey.” But deep down, I’m scared and disappointed in myself for not seeing the red flags. My question now is, how do I handle this situation?
