This girl was my childhood love; we started dating back in secondary school. I was 17, and she was 16. We dated for four years before breaking up. It was all my fault because I ghosted her when things were tough for me. I thought the best way was to leave the relationship and ghost everyone to focus on myself until I made it. She couldn’t cope, so she requested a breakup for her own peace of mind due to the distance. This girl was always there for me; she helped me get my first phone and even contributed to my transport when I was moving from Delta to Lagos.
After our breakup, she’s been in about three relationships because I’d occasionally see her post her relationship updates on TikTok. We both moved on a long time ago until I traveled back to Delta for my sister’s wedding, and we met again, exchanged contacts, and started talking. Well, she’s single again; none of her relationships have worked out, and I’ve just been a playboy because I have money as a forex trader. I still love this girl, I can’t lie.
