How does someone act very nice and kind to everyone else except their partner? How does someone go out of their way to please and make everyone else happy except their own partner? Something they’d effortlessly do for an outsider becomes a big burden to do for their partner. Why would you constantly try to body shame or talk down on your partner whenever they try to say something nice about themselves? How do you leave your partner stranded without a way to return to safety when you have the means to ensure they’ll be safe?
How do you say very mean things to your partner in the name of being angry? This isn’t a boyfriend-girlfriend situation—I’m talking about a husband and wife. Why? I hope I haven’t married a weapon fashioned against me. God, I prayed for the flesh of my flesh and the bone of my bone, so why did you give me a bone that chokes me in the neck? Wheeeew! I intentionally didn’t add any gender because I want genuine answers from everyone without making it a gender issue.
