So guys, there’s this guy I met on my way to work. He’s 25, and I’m 23. We’ve been chatting for some time now. Sometimes, he would even drive to my house to see me, lol. Now, the thing is… he asked me out. I clearly told this guy that I wasn’t interested, but he kept pestering me 🤦♀️. I even went as far as telling him that if it’s sex he wants, he should just tell me. If I’m okay with it, then we’re good to go, lol. I was only trying to find out what was really on his mind, you get?
He said no, it’s a relationship he wants. I said okay. I started asking him some questions, like if he has a girlfriend or if he’s married. He has a house, a car, like he’s settled already, and guys like that mostly have kids, baby mamas, or serious girlfriends. He said no, he doesn’t have any 😂. Though I didn’t ask if he had kids, even if I had, he would’ve still lied 😂. MEN!!! I told him no wahala. So, he came to pick me up last week. We spent time together, and the next day, I went back home.
This morning, oga posted, “My daughter is 1” 😂😂. I replied and said, “Ahh, you have a child?” He said yes. I asked, “Why didn’t you tell me?” He said, “You didn’t ask, na” 😂. Oga even asked me whether the baby is not fine. He then dropped the funniest one: “Let me just be truthful to you, they’re two” 😂. Guys, should I be pained? But the funniest part is, I wasn’t pained. I was even eating while reading his message. I replied while laughing. Omo 🤦♀️😂. Abeg, what kind of feeling is this? Well, before I even accepted him, I had it in my mind that if it works, it works, and if it doesn’t, I’ll just enjoy the moment.
So, I think that’s the reason why I wasn’t pained. I always expect anything from anybody, no matter the bond, lol. Before some of you start saying it’s because of money, I haven’t even asked him for money before. I’m not rich, but at the same time, I’m not broke. I can afford my basic needs. Just wanted to give it a try!!! 🥹 Just imagine if I had put my hopes high on him. This is how he would’ve broken me. To think he even promised not to hurt me. Lol, thank God.
