My boyfriend traveled a couple of days ago. He got stranded and had to borrow money from me (not the first time) with the assurance that he’d return it later. It’s been 6 days, and he hasn’t said anything about the money. But I know he has made other transactions amounting to N700k. I work a 9-5, and that money was what I was holding onto for September. I’m saving up for my friend’s and sister’s weddings, and he knows this.
Ever since we started dating, I’ve never asked him for anything, but he has borrowed money from me a few times, always returning it after a few days. Now, I’m broke because I gave him everything I had. He said he’d return it that day. I don’t know how to ask for my money back. I really need it, and my life is on hold because I can’t pay for anything. How do I go about this without pushing him off the edge?
