I saw a post where someone said girls should always reply to their DMs on Instagram. Well, I entered my wife’s DM in October 2023, and I was not in Nigeria at the time. I came to Nigeria in November 2023, and we met for the first time. I proposed two days later, and we got married in April 2024. I’ve never been this happy in my whole life. The moral of my long story is this: if you’re with a man for more than 4 months and he’s not making a move to settle with you, he doesn’t see a future with you.
I was with my ex for over 2 years, and I didn’t propose because I knew my life would be in bad shape if I married her. A guy can be happy in a relationship but deep down know he won’t marry you. Some girls can only make good girlfriends, not wives. I’m saying this on behalf of all men: we know if we’re going to marry a girl within a month of meeting her. I know my wife will see this—you are the best thing that has ever happened to me.
