My younger sister got a scholarship to a private university, and I was happy that at least there would be a graduate among us. So I thought, since it was a scholarship, it wouldn’t be hard for me and my sister to support her. I didn’t know the organizers were just looking for students for their school and had lied to us about the scholarship. When they gave her admission, we paid all the necessary bills, up to N200k. During the second semester, they said they’ve increased their school fee to N400k. I told my sister we couldn’t afford that fee, and she suggested we do thrift so we could pay N200k each. I agreed with her. We started saving for her fee, and that’s the only thing we’re saving for. I have an online business I’m running. I started using my business money for the thrift, and the business isn’t going that well. But she doesn’t care to know how I’m going to raise the money. The only thing she cares about is that she doesn’t want my younger sister to come home from school because of what people will say. So we struggled to pay the second-semester bill. Now they’re resuming for 200 level, and I honestly don’t think I can afford the school fee. I told both of them I’m sorry, but I can’t afford the fee and that she should change to a public university or polytechnic. That’s when both of them (my elder sister and younger sister) blocked me everywhere, saying they knew I’d be the one to scatter everything, and that I don’t want her to go to school like I didn’t go. I’m so pained. Even though I’m the one buying the foodstuffs she takes to school, she still follows what my elder sister told her to do and blocked me. I don’t know what to do.
