Should I Leave My Financially Unstable Partner?

I have this guy in my life. I like him, but he isn’t financially stable at all. I’m actually in school right now, so I need financial assistance. My parents are doing fine; they can afford whatever I want, but sometimes I just don’t like calling them when I need something until it is pressing. So, I really want someone that can assist me. I feel like he is lazy and doesn’t try his best, always complaining when he gets a job. I have told him several times, and he’s getting better, but things aren’t getting better. Sometimes I feel like it’s my fault; maybe I am not lucky or something.

I’m okay—not too fine and not ugly at all. Out of 100, I’ll rate myself like a solid 70. I’m still growing and all. Plus, the relationship is long-distance. And here in school, there are guys I try my best not to socialize with. I just want someone who is financially stable and loves me. He loves me, alright, but things are not working out because there is no money. It’s been almost 2 years now. Should I leave him, or should I wait?
