I met this narcissist, didn’t know he was one before saying yes to him. In fact, I thought he was my final bus stop because he said so many sweet things to me. In fact, I was in all his future plans. Things weren’t even fine with him. While together, the only thing he ever did for me was about 1000 naira worth. He always had one worry or the other every day that all I did was to listen, console him, and even assist him with money. First money, he requested that I borrow him even if it meant borrowing from someone. He promised to refund before a week but two weeks passed, no show (the money was over N15,000).
Later, over N200,000 entered this guy’s hand, he settled his other debts (like paying his laborers because he had a project at hand, according to him), yet he gave me nothing, not even the money I borrowed him. I spoke to him on how I felt about it. He said he was expecting another money, blah blah blah. We continued o. It was either he had no transport to work, or he hadn’t eaten since morning, or his boss had refused to balance him. I mean, I couldn’t be eating comfortably while my boyfriend was starving. I kept on lending him money like N5,000, N2,000, N10,000—and now he owes me over N40,000 naira. We broke up because of his narcissistic character.
He was too proud to apologize, always dragging issues and ready to quarrel like a woman. I mean, you aren’t even doing anything for me, and you can’t even be my peace. I told him I couldn’t continue. One time we had an issue that seemed like we were breaking up, and he said I should send my account details for a refund. When we eventually broke up, I sent my details. It’s been months, and he is yet to pay me back. I keep reminding him, but he is still full of himself. The way he responds sef, is enough to drag him on the internet. I’m being calm because this is someone I once said “I love you” to. He is really pushing me. I don’t even earn much to dash him that kind of money.
