I would deny it if someone said I wouldn’t be a graduate by now. I’m a girl that finished secondary school at the age of 15; that was in 2020, during the coronavirus outbreak. I have a very rapid growth that no one will believe my age because I look big and mature. I did my first JAMB around 2021, but it was very low, and there was nobody to sponsor me even if I waited. That was when I gave up on school. My mom is married to another man because my parents were separated since I was small. It was even when I was 7 years old that I got to know my dad. My mom has really been trying for me as a mother, but not experiencing parental care and love has traumatised me.
I have to live with her sisters because her husband has children too. She doesn’t want me to stay with her to avoid any sort of assault from her husband’s child or her husband 😒. My mom is a tailor, but due to the new style that’s out now, her tailoring work is not doing well. It’s just a little she does that’s sustaining her. My fear now is I have been working for almost a year now, and I want to go back to school. I have someone that will sponsor me, but I want to ask if I’m not too old for school as a lady who wants to go to university at the age of 21. 🥺
