I’ve been dating this extremely wealthy guy for 7 months, and the only money I’ve ever gotten from him is the N20k he sent me before we started dating. He has never once asked how I’m surviving. On my birthday, he ignored me the entire day. I got sick once and was hospitalized for a week, and this man didn’t even call or text the whole time. Yet, he’s always telling me about how he spent millions on this and that (even sending screenshots) and how he’s not in Nigeria, blah, blah, blah.
There’s no promise on earth he hasn’t made to me. Fast forward to yesterday, I begged him to lend me some money to settle a few urgent things, promising to pay it back, and he ignored me the entire day, keeping himself busy updating his status. So, I blocked him. Please, did I overreact? A part of me thinks I did, but another part believes I deserve someone with a little empathy, at least. I’ll be in the comment section.
