We talk on the phone from morning till night, but he has a girlfriend, and I told him we can just be friends—I can’t date a guy who has a girlfriend. We’ve been texting for eight months now, and it’s all good, but I haven’t seen him in person. So lately, he doesn’t say a word without mentioning his girlfriend—“my girlfriend this, my girlfriend that,” “I got this for my girlfriend”—and it makes texting him really boring because I don’t know what kind of response he’s expecting from me. I’m not angry; I’m just in awe of how he preaches love to me yet wants to choke me with “my girlfriend this and that.” If your girl is everything, why are you still in my DM?
