We are a family of four: my mum, sister, and younger brother. My sister is the breadwinner of our family. She’s the one providing almost everything for us, along with my mum’s little income. She traveled to Lagos five years ago, and she’s been doing well for herself and supporting me as well (I’m still a student). She’s very hardworking and supportive. Not until last year was she scammed. Ever since then, everything has been going backward for her. She lost her job and so many things. She’s really going through a lot. She’s always in tears anytime we’re on a video call. She needs a good job, but she’s not getting any. The last time we were on a call, she told me she’s tired of this life. I feel ashamed of myself because I don’t even have anything to help her with. I pray God comes through for us.
