There’s a man I know through my big sis (my big sis is married). The man actually asked me out in February, but I said no because I don’t like dating older men. I told my big sister about it, and she said she had already told the man that I wouldn’t accept him. My kid sister divorced her husband last year in December, and now she says she doesn’t mind marrying older men because of what her ex-husband did to her. I met a guy I like in May, and I informed my big sis and kid sis about him in less than two weeks because I have been single since September last year.
Yesterday, my big sister called me and said she had introduced the man who asked me out to my kid sister since last month (June) because she doesn’t mind marrying older men now. I was angry for two reasons when she told me: One, why didn’t she tell me before introducing her to the man? I mean, she should at least have included me in the plan. I feel like they both betrayed me because I don’t hide anything from them. Even my kid sister didn’t say a word about it to me.
Two, I felt it wasn’t right for my kid sister to be with a man who once asked me out. One thing about my kid sister is that she’s desperate to be married again. My big sis now says there’s nothing bad in it since I didn’t accept the man. She later hung up on me. In the evening, my kid sister called me and was trying to explain to me about the man my sister introduced her to. I shut her up, saying I didn’t want to hear anything about it because she had hidden it from me before. She also hung up on me. Please, my Rantandtalkz family, am I overreacting?
