I hate the situation in this country. I’ve finished my master’s, and I want to go for my Ph.D., but I really I’m scared of going abroad alone and settling down in a foreign country. My friend was able to get a deal for her MSc where they did a fake marriage, and the guy went as her dependent. I’ve been trying to find that, but I haven’t been lucky. I want to go to America or Canada, and my PGD and master’s were distinctions, so I’m sure of getting admission; even a scholarship is very possible, but I really don’t want to go alone. Facing a new environment and culture alone is the stuff of nightmares, with those weird white people.
