I broke up with my ex, who was very toxic, to move on to a peaceful life. After 3 months, I met someone who, in fact, was more than a source of joy and happiness to me. As soon as my toxic ex saw my updates and noticed I was happy, he then proceeded to give my boyfriend a call because they are acquaintances—not even up to that. He called my boyfriend and told him to leave his girlfriend alone; otherwise, he would tell everyone my boyfriend is a snitch. My boyfriend, who is now scared of spoiling his image and having his name out there because he was in a similar situation before, now asked for a breakup.
I even showed him a chat where my toxic ex said if he’s not going to have me, then no one else will. My boyfriend said he will still be there for me, always attend to my needs, and always check up on me, but we have to put a stop to the relationship because he doesn’t want his name or image to be spoiled. I wish he could see that this idiot was only trying to ruin us. I will be in the comment section. Please, what should I do?
