So there’s this guy I’ve been dating for a few months now. I’ve been to his place just a few times, and I noticed a gift that his ex-girlfriend bought for him before they broke up. Inside the gift, I saw a short love letter written on a piece of paper attached to the gift. The first time I went to his place was when I noticed the letter, but I didn’t react because we had just started dating then. Now our relationship has been going well for like three months, and the last time I went to his place, I noticed that the same love note is still there, just the way his ex-girlfriend attached it to the gift, and both the gift and the note are still there.
Please note that he told me himself how he needed to break up with the girl (his ex) because it wasn’t a healthy relationship. Now, I want to know if it’s normal that he’s still in possession of that written note. Since we’re now dating, why is that note still there? Could he have forgotten to remove it? Should I confront him about it or not? I don’t want him to know that I went through his stuff. Is there any better way to confront him about it? I love him, and he loves me, no doubt.
