I really don’t know if I’m overthinking. There was a day I went out with my boyfriend only for his friend to comment on his post (he posted a video of me). He replied under the post with, “Dey play my fans.” I saw it briefly on his phone and I questioned my boyfriend immediately why he would say such, and he said he was only joking, that that’s how they all joke around. I ended the conversation immediately. Note: this is someone I have been dating for over 5 years, so his friends know me well, not that we started dating months or days ago. So my Rantandtalkz family, is there really a meaning to that, or am I just overthinking? This happened when the ‘dey play’ slang was trending last year.
